A message from our founder

At the outset, I would like to thank you for visiting our website and for being part of this social support system.

One of the voices we come across in our country every day — through our social and electronic media — is that of hunger, malnutrition, school dropouts, deprivation of primary education and child crime, and the list goes on. I had been hearing this for many years, and it was always in my mind: how, and in what way, could I contribute to this huge socio-economic issue?

The seed for this was sown way back in the 1990s, but in 2003 it took shape with the forming of OKC Trust. In the years since, our Trust has grown to better levels through the support of all our well-wishers and donors. Thank you once again — it truly makes a difference.

Based on my learning over the years, I have categorized our support to cover a wider ambit of society — starting from Food, Education, Differently Abled Children, Senior Citizens and Women Empowerment.
